Cloakroom
by PamFord Davis Old classic movies of the 1940's and 50's TV shows have greatly influenced my thinking. Many featured brief scenes of hat girls at cloakrooms. Men exchanged tickets for their hats before escorting their sweethearts out to a waiting taxicab. I believe I was born too late. The clothing custom of hats for both men and women was delightful. My ticket to proper headwear is warfare prayer. "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:17 NAS)." As I cover my head with His salvation, I give Him sway to both my conscious and subconscious.
