Safe and Sound
by PamFord Davis

Though not home yet, I am safe and sound in my temporary residence.

"Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold , glorify God in the day of visitation (1 Peter 2:11-12 KJV)."

To God be all glory and praise!

Through the Spirit of God, I am of sound mind.

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 KJV)."

As the Psalmist, I seek a heart that is sound and strong in faith.

"Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed (Psalm 119:80 KJV)."

Safe, sound and saved by grace
