What Do You See?
by PamFord Davis

'What do you see?'

That typically depends on our perception.

"Then Elisha prayed and said, "O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." And the LORD opened the servant's eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha (2 Kings 6:17 NAS)."

God's heavenly host was in his midst; the LORD opened the eyes of Elisha, enabling him to see the unseen.

Do I see my problems of today or God's glories of eternal life?

"For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:17-18a NAS)."
