Satan is Cunning
by PamFord Davis The heat and high humidity of summer quickly saps us of our strength. When heat index readings rise, we search for shaded outdoor areas, indoor air conditioning and increase our water intake. Satan is cunning; he has increased his attacks against Christ followers. He robs us of our joy and saps us of our spiritual strength. I turn toward the LORD "Do not be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10b NAS)." I receive Jesus' promised gift of joy. "These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full (John 15:11 NAS)."
