Which is correct?

Should a church choir sing in parts or in unison?

There is no one correct answer. In some selections, the choir director may lead the members to sing in unison; in others, he or she chooses 4-part harmony.

In worship, unison is the LORD's desire.

"And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do (Exodus 24:3 KJV)."

Jesus prayer was that we would be 'one.'

"And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are (John 17:11 KJV)."
