Will You Share?
by Annagail Lynes

So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, "Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them." His lord said to him, "Well done, good and faithful servant..." - Matthew 25:2021

What are you doing with what God has given you?

God has given all of us talents and gifts to share with the world.

"But I don't have any talents or gifts.," you might say.

Just because you haven't discovered yours yet does not negate the fact that God has given to each of us gifts and talents.

We all have special skills, abilities, gifts, talents and personality that make us who we are.

We are all unique. God has created us all to be awesome in our own way. We each have an awesomeness that we need to share with the world.

We have a story. We have our own perspective. We each have our own assignment direct from God Himself.

The question is what are we going to do with those talents, those gifts, that story. Are we going share it with the world or are we going to keep it all to ourselves?

God never gives us things for us to keep them, to hoard them. God gives us things so that we can share them, so that they can bless others as well as us.

God wants us to take what we know, what we have, our talents, our gifts, our story, and share them with others. It might be your story or your gift that heals them emotionally or brings them into the Kingdom of God.

What if, by not sharing who you are with the world, you are preventing someone from hearing the Gospel?

What if, by not sharing your story, someone stays stuck for the rest of their lives?

Are you going to share what you have with the world, or are you going to stay in your comfort zone and hide your talents?

The choice is yours.
