Birds fly south for the winter, not to mention snowbirds in search of warmer climates

At the first signs of winter's merciless weather, they take flight.

"Even the stork in the heavens knows her appointed times; and the turtledove, the swift, and the swallow observe the time of their coming. But My people do not know the judgment of the LORD (Jeremiah 8:7 NKJ)."

The more prideful we become in our acquired knowledge, the less we really know. Judgment is certain.

"For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Now 'If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear (1 Peter 4:17-18 NKJ)?"
