Are We Willing To Wait?
by Prasanna Dasari Psalms 130:5-6 "I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning." Waiting...waiting...waiting Seems bored right? Yes, is our answer. None of us are willing to wait for any reply, either from God or our family/friends. We are fed up with the wait-mode. We are really sick of waiting for all both the necessary and unnecessary things. At the bus stops and for a friend at cafes. Sometimes we like to wait, when the result is our benefit. But, when the 'wait' thing arrives in the matter of God, it is like horrible for us. Faithlessness appears in us and drifts us away from the wait on God. We make our wishes and pray about them. Starting with daily pray and then to week and then to months, later it disappears. We are unwilling to wait on Lord and for his timing. But, when we observe in the Holy Bible there are many verses and even chapters which are based on the waiting. Best we can call it as perseverance, our lives are build up on the waiting. God may keep our gift(s) in the waiting list, his timing is perfect. He provides us the need to the needs to face at a right time.
