Elohei Haelohim - The God of Gods
by Tai Ikomi Elohei Haelohim (eh-lo-hay hah-eh-low-heem) God of Gods "For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward" (Deuteronomy 10:17). God is the God above all other gods. He is the only true and living God. There is no god like Him in heaven or on earth. He is God over all the earth. The gods of the heathen are silver and gold, created with human hands, with eyes that cannot see and ears that cannot hear, but our God is the God who sees, who hears, and who loves. As God, He has power to do as He pleases. The works of His hands mark Him as the Strong One. When you know the true God, no one or nothing can put you to shame. Before Him, there is no God, and after Him, there shall be none. He is the only true and living God. He enters into an impossible situation and brings solution to it. He is greater than all other gods are. When He acts, no other god can stand in His way, for He speaks, and it is final. He is the God who also does wonders and gives life to all. Today, you can decide to forsake any gods and serve the true and living God. His name is Elohei Haelohim Praise Elohei Haelohim, God of gods, there is none like You. You alone are God. What god can do what You have done? You are the Creator of the universe. The others gods are the works of men's hands but You made the heavens and the earth. Who indeed is rock like our God! I praise Your great name. Prayer Lord, You are the God of gods. May my life be a constant reminder to my generation that You are the only God. Lord, may I never provoke You to anger by serving another god, the works of human hands. Confession Lord, I confess that You are the only true God. There is none besides You. You are the Strong One. Among the gods, who is like You? In Heaven or on Earth, who is like You who keep covenant and mercy with those who fear You. You, alone, I will serve. Be exalted O God in Your own strength so will we sing and praise Your power.
