Tools of the Trade
by PamFord Davis

What are your tools of the trade?

Even if retired, you use tools in your kitchen, sewing room or garage. As a writer, my Bible and computer are my most valued tools. In my role as radio announcer, I am nothing without a microphone.

We depend on instruments, tools, and gadgets to carry out our work.

God is in control; his work of seeking and saving sinners continues. Am I available to serve as a tool in the hands of my Master? My heart is submissive; in faith and obedience, I surrender my hands, feet, and my tongue as his tools of the trade.

"Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God (Romans 6:13 KJV)."
