Pillars of the Church
by PamFord Davis If you are an active member in a local church, you have pillars in your midst. Even if your church building is not colonial in construction and front entrance pillars are absent, pillars of your church body are present and faithful. I should give church pillars honor, and express words of appreciation. In addition, in humble worship, I am to display reverence in church. It is a foundational pillar of truth. "But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth (1 Timothy 3:15 KJV)."
