Butting God
by PamFord Davis 'But, God' Do you ever find yourself butting God? 'But God, surely you do not expect me to rejoice when bad things happen.' That would be illogical. Right? I mean, who can rejoice when brokenhearted? "Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 KJV)." I can rejoice; I can pray and give thanks to my heavenly Father. Though difficult, I can find reasons for rejoicing. If he wills it for me, I must trust him. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28 KJV)."
