Peace, Pie in the Sky?
by PamFord Davis Peace, myriads seek global peace. World leaders speak of peace. School principals and teachers hope to have peace restored in classrooms. In conflict torn marriages, both husbands and wives pray for peace in their fragmented relationships. Many children, in broken homes, blame themselves for the absence of peace in their families. Is peace pie in the sky? I claim Jesus' peace promises. "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27 KJV)."
