A Great Find
by PamFord Davis When on shopping excursions, I'm elated with great finds. I'm saved and being sanctified with life's greatest find. "And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it (Matthew 10:38-39 NKJ)." For the sake of Christ and His kingdom, I bend my back, knees, and take up the cross. By loosening the grip on my rights, I lose life as I had known it. I am richer for the loss; I find purpose, peace with God and life everlasting. I perceive the truths of profit and loss. "For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul (Matthew 16:26 NKJ)."
