THE TAPESTRY OF LIFE

Our lives are intricately woven into the fabric of endless time by the hand of the Master Weaver who makes us into priceless works of art.

He holds the fragile threads of our lives in His loving hands, weaving them into the tapestry at just the precise time according to his perfect plan, causing the tapestry to flow with perfection into the scheme of things. It is, as His robe, seamless, one generation flowing into the next without a flaw, for He makes no mistakes. The tapestry covers the entire universe and span of time. Nothing is left out. Those that were and are and will be, and babes that should have been but are not, none are forgotten. All are included.

As He weaves, He breathes upon the tapestry, causing it to teem with life. Everything is perfect, nothing amiss, for He knows the beginning from the end. From the void of time to the end of time to eternal time, all is represented. From the forming of matter and man to their eternal destiny, all is captured.

All colors are represented in a burst of glory as rainbows explode sending their beautiful colors throughout time and eternity, but none as beautiful as the scarlet thread upon which hinges the souls of all mankind.

The tapestry is a labor of love, created by the one who is Love Himself. This heart of love is bursting with pride and broken with sorrow, and has been mingled with His tear drops and His blood drops.

The Weaver continues His work throughout the centuries; on and on, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. Yet a time will come, and soon, when the Weaver will step away from the loom, and with a loud voice like thunder, He shall proclaim, "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him that is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death." NIV Rev.21:6-8
