Sea to Shining Sea
by PamFord Davis 'From sea to shining sea*' America's landscape is varied and vast. I consider myself privileged to have traveled coast-to-coast. I could not contain my excitement when first seeing pounding waves of the Pacific Ocean. We moved to Florida a decade later; there, I walked the white sands of Destin and frolicked in the Gulf of Mexico surf. Vacationing in Jacksonville, I captured memories of the Atlantic Ocean with snapshots. 'From sea to shining sea,*' the creator reigns. "In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth. He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
