Finish Your Homework
by PamFord Davis

'Have you finished you homework?'

'Oh, Dad!'

Many children would much rather play outside with friends or hibernate in their room with the latest computer games. Homework? That, they stall as long as possible.

Dads, moms, children Have you finished your homework?

'Huh?'

Our Father wants us to live out our faith at the home front.
Ouch. That hits too close to home.

"Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:1-4 KJV)."

Our families are worth the effort. We never finish our homework.
