Are Christians dinosaurs?
by Michael Hume

Are Christians dinosaurs, irrelevant to the times? A true Christian is the most relevant person on earth. Current, alive and God's spokesman and doer of deeds. A natural man or woman who has found their purpose in God. They are living the way God intended for them. Their views are God's and their ways are God's ways. They live by God's commands and laws as best as they can. They know what they are from Bible reading.

The real dinosaurs are the worldly who think God and the godly are out of fashion. They are the lawless ones, corrupt, not knowing right from wrong, nor good from evil. They lack wisdom and don't really have a strong ethical code. You can't twist God's words and expect to be right. You can't twist God. Your sin will find you out. They don't really make any effort to know God or His ways or His standards of behavior expected of them.

The Bible is a living book and this is where God's laws are clearly stated. You could be fooled into thinking all books are the same but they are not. Start reading a book on literature, and you will not be edified as much as by Bible reading. The Bible is Holy Spirit inspired and breathed. That means God wrote it and keeps it living all the time.

The Bible is the most relevant book of our times, of any time since it was written, and will be into all the future of mankind. It is the best selling book on earth. The laws and statutes are from a timeless God and for our benefit. When we read it and live by it we are living by an eternal order, heavens way of life. We need to be living by standards of behavior, ethics and ways that exist in heaven while we are on earth, so that we are fit material for heaven and worthy to get there. The Bible shows us how to live like that. It is not hard, but easy.

The first Adam sinned, and so did Eve and from them sin came into every person on earth, except to Jesus. Jesus, the second Adam took away sin at the cross and with his rising from death. To have a relationship with God like Jesus, or his first apostles did is easy. Just pray asking God to forgive your sins, and accept that Jesus took all your sins to the cross. Ask Jesus into your life as your Lord and Saviour. Then you can have a daily relation with God, through prayer and Bible reading. What have you got to lose by praying up a prayer like this? Much to gain, nothing to lose.
