The Grands
by PamFord Davis

We once used 8 millimeter home movies, slide shows and family photo albums. Then multitudes progressed to VCR tapes and DVD. They will soon be obsolete. Parents and grandparents have gone high tech.

Methods change but the delight we receive in parenting and grand-parenting is timeless.

The LORD blessed the family patriarchs of Israel.

"The Lord bless you out of Zion,
And may you see the good of Jerusalem
All the days of your life.
Yes, may you see your children's children.

Peace be upon Israel (Psalm 128:5-6 NKJV)."

The LORD has blessed me.

I have lived to see grandsons. Yes, I witnessed their formative and young adult years. They are my children's children.

I am a granny.

A new generation began two years ago. Via the worldwide web, I saw newborn pictures of Zoey, our grandson's baby girl.

I am a great grandmother.

Isn't it grand?
