The Search
by PamFord Davis The search is over. Some women are searching for the perfect mate. When they find 'Mr. Right,' they herald the news. Scores of people are searching for a good job. After months of dead end leads, they make the right connections. Apartment dwellers have been cramped up in a cracker box apartment. The realtor calls with great news. The offer they made on their dream home has been accepted. Their search is over. Are you searching for fulfillment, freedom from the burden of sin? Maybe you have been searching for purpose. A woman walked to a village well in search of drinking water. Meeting Jesus, she searched for information on worship. "The woman said to Him, 'I know that Messiah is coming' (who is called Christ). 'When He comes, He will tell us all things.' Jesus said to her, 'I who speak to you am He (John 4:25-26 NKJV)." Her search for fulfillment ended; abundant life began.
