In God Alone
by PamFord Davis

"Rest in God alone, my soul,
for my hope comes from Him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my stronghold; I will not be shaken.
My salvation and glory depend on God;
my strong rock, my refuge, is in God.
Trust in Him at all times, you people;
Pour out your hearts before Him.
God is our refuge (Psalm 62:5-8 HCSB)."

The Psalmist had a way with words. He knew the way to find perfect rest.

In times of trouble, he placed his trust in God alone.

I don't want to skim over the surface of this relevant scripture passage.

Our world is being shaken.

Terrorism has invaded our lands.

Opinions on right and wrong behaviors are in flux.

We need a resting place.

In God alone

He gives us hope.

We can trust him. He is the rock of refuge and salvation.

In God alone!

Hear and heed the Psalmist's plea.

"Trust in Him at all times, you people;
Pour out your hearts before Him.
God is our refuge (Psalm 62:8 HCSB)."
