Sin is Serious
by PamFord Davis

Just how serious do I consider my sin to be?

In regards to that question, I must consider iniquities ramifications.

If

"I cried to Him with my mouth,

And He was extolled with my tongue.
If I regard iniquity in my heart,
The Lord will not hear.
But certainly God has heard me;
He has attended to the voice of my prayer.

Blessed be God,
Who has not turned away my prayer,
Nor His mercy from me (Psalm 66:17-20 NKJV)!"

How foolish it is to try to hide any sin from Omniscient God.

"For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light (Luke 8:17 NKJV)."

LORD, there is only one thing that I desire to hide in my heart.

"Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You (Psalm 119:11 NKJV)."
