Father Christmas
by PamFord Davis

Are you a believer?

Do you know the true Father Christmas?

Children of all ages are believers in the traditional Father Christmas. Most know him best as Santa Claus; others call him Saint Nicholas. Maybe you also have fond memories of Mr. Christmas

The late Andy Williams was well suited for the role. For years, Andy shared his family and the traditions of Christmas on network television. Americans welcomed him into our homes as Mr. Christmas.

I wonder how many fail to welcome the heavenly Father into our hearts and homes

It is not too late. Trust, Father Christmas; He is the Father of lights.

"Every generous act and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights; with Him there is no variation or shadow cast by turning. By His own choice, He gave us a new birth by the message of truth so that we would be the firstfruits of His creatures (James 1:17-18 HCSB)."

Welcome and worship the Father of lights. Christmas lights can serve as yearly reminders. Let His light shine through you. Say Merry Christmas; share good tidings. The Father sent His Son to seek and save the lost; Jesus is the light of the world.
