The Beginning
by PamFord Davis

It began with creation.

It was not happenstance; God had a divine plan.

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth (Genesis 1:1 KJV).”

Jesus, the living Word was instrumental from the beginning.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not (John 1:1-5 KJV).”

Christ Jesus is the Alpha & Omega, ‘the beginning’ and the end. (Revelation 22:13)

“Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

"And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell (Colossians 1:15-19 KJV).”

The factual account and faith are as one. I believe.

“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear (Hebrews 11:3 KJV).”
