Success Is Not What You Think
by lareina morgan What does being successful mean to you? We all probably know what the world in general believes in, and that generally means power, wealth, and never having to admit your mistakes or apologize to anyone. The world is seeking perfection in a situation where everything is fallen and broken, so their peception of success is flawed. Does God want you to be successful? Yes, and He has a plan for every child of His, He wants His little ones to succeed, to excel, to be happy and content in His presence. He is looking for those who are willing to live according to His standards, and He wants people who are willing to be guided by His Word and by His Spirit. Do you believe that you will have success in your life? Do you believe you have accomplished everything you wanted to do in life? If you can say yes to these questions, I am truly happy for you, but if you have doubts that you have succeeded, or if you feel you have not had much success, I want to encourage you to look at your life again. Do you know what God feels about you and what you have accomplished in your life? If you do not know, then ask him, and He will show you how He feels about you. He knows who you are and what you can do, and everything that you have faced in your life was orchestrated in such a way so that you would bear fruit for His kingdom. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you have not lived this life by yourself. He has guided you and loved you every step of the way.
We are being shaped to become kings and priests in the Lord's House forever and ever. He is holy, so we must be holy, and this process of transformation is messy and painful, difficult, long and cumbersome, encouraging and filled with hope. He knows what the end product will be, because He planned it all out since before the foundation of the earth was laid, so be encouraged my sisters and brothers in Christ, because everything has already been done for you, you just have to step out in faith, in love, and in hope. If you have no relationship with Jesus Christ, then none of this applies to you; don't worry, if you are reading this, then you still have time to come to Him and to be blessed by His love and providence. Repeat this prayer:
Lord, I repent for trying to be master of my own life. I change my mind about who I want to be in charge of my life. I turn from my useless and unproductive thoughts that I am the center of my universe and choose to believe in the living God who created everything, including me (Acts 14:15). I have lived without a purpose but now I will live to hear and obey You, God (Jn. 5:19, 20,30). from the true world of God Blog https://learningtoliveandloveinthewordofgod.blogspot.com/ Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
