We all need to live according to an agenda. The question is, WHAT IS YOUR AGENDA? I don’t mean the AGENDA you are thinking of though, I have a different A.G.E.N.D.A. Mine is not hidden so I will share it with you.

Learn something new this year, especially something that will lead you to good works. Educate yourself. Develop skills that will benefit you in life. Plan to learn a certain skill by a particular time. They say when the brain stops assimilating, it starts degenerating.

Goals to achieve 

Set goals to achieve. Don’t set goals for the sake of setting a goal! Be serious with your goals. Work hard toward your goals. Don’t allow distractions to divert your focus and energy.

Experiences to share

1 Corinthians 11:23

 

For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you…..

What experiences did you gain that you can pass on to others. Don’t die with your experiences hidden in you, pass them on. A life of significance is one lived learning so as to teach others.

You may not value what life has taught you but someone needs those lessons and experiences you have learnt in life.

Needs to meet

Plan to meet the needs of others. Be the blessing someone is praying for. This year determine to touch lives by meeting the needs of others.

Proverbs 19:17

 

Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord,

and he will reward them for what they have done.

This is actually a great seed for breakthrough. When you meet the needs of others, God will meet you at your point of need.

Dream

Never stop dreaming! Dreams are the driving force of life. Take your dreams to the next level in this coming year.

Deuteronomy 29:29

 

The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.

Dream the impossible, if you can dream it it can be realised. What you can’t see will remain an impossibility, but if you can dream it, you can have it. If ever there is a heritage we should leave for our children, its the ability to dream and realise those dreams.

ACTION

Nothing happens on it’s own. Make it happen!

Ecclesiastes 11:3

……..Whether a tree falls to the south or to the north,

in the place where it falls, there it will lie.

What does this mysterious scripture mean? It simply means nothing happens on it’s own. Whatever you want to see happening in your life, take ACTION to make it happen. What steps have you planned to take this year?

And so I ask again, what is your A.G.E.N.D.A?
