When having a plate of food like chicken, rice, and vegetables, I began to realize that each one of these food groups was once alive but had to pay the ultimate sacrifice to keep my natural body alive. Similarly, Jesus Christ was once alive in the flesh but he paid the ultimate price to keep our spirit man alive. If our food doesn't become one with us, we will physically die. If Jesus doesn't become one with us, we will spiritually die. Therefore, Jesus and our food are essential for life because they both paid the ultimate sacrifice for us to live.
