Are you curious?

Are you curious?

There has been a time in every one's life from one time to another that they were curious about some thing. They wanted to check some thing out, look some thing over, see how some thing worked or examine some thing. They wanted to find out more about a person, place or thing. They wanted to explore their interests more. I for one was the most curious person you could ever meet. I wanted to know how nearly every thing was made and how it worked and I am still a little that way but not near as much as I was when I was young.

Curiosity is a common thing. All people of all ages get it. Animals are curious at times also. Curiosity can be good when it is for educational purposes. Curiosity is usually a learning experience to benefit a person's knowledge. Curiosity can either give a person satisfaction or disappointment. Curiosity can make a person feel relieved or more frustrated. Curiosity in some situations can depend on the out come of a person if they succeed or fail, if they get hurt or if they are unharmed, if some one lives or dies.

A pastor was sharing this story about the time he went squirrel hunting. He lived just out side of town and he had squirrels in the woods right behind his home. One day, he grabbed his .22 rifle and went in the woods right behind his home to go squirrel hunting. He was walking along looking up in the trees looking for a squirrel. He came to this one tree and looked up and he saw a squirrel. He aimed his rifle at the squirrel and it moved to the other side of the tree. The squirrel was going downward a little at a time as the pastor thought it was so strange to see a squirrel move like that. So, the pastor walked around to the other side of the tree. He looked down and saw this rattle snake moving it's head from side to side as the squirrel moved closer and closer to it. The squirrel got close enought and as quick as lightning that rattle snake fastened his fangs into that squirrel and quickly devoured it. That squirrel's curiosity turned him into a free dinner for that rattle snake.

Every thing in the world is nothing but a death trap for all who are curious enough to get into it. Look at all the deaths that the world has had and still having because people couldn't resist it and many souls are in hell and still going to hell because of it. Drugs, gangs, thefts, alcohol, bars, parties and on and on and on all are death traps. If you are curious about any thing worldly, you will be like that squirrel who got devoured by that rattle snake and this is God's promise and satan's gaurantee. The Bible says in 1 Peter 5 verse 8 that satan is like a roaring lion devouring who ever he can. A jungle lion gets full and has to stop eating, but satan is never full and desires more and more and more. The Bible says in 2 Cor. 6 verse 17 to not touch the unclean thing and be separate from them. The Bible says in James 4 verse 4 that a friend of the world is God's enemy.

If you are in the world or need to be saved, go to God confess and repent of all known sins, ask Jesus to come into your heart and your life today and be your Lord and Savior, follow Him and serve God from this moment on and God will bless you. God bless you.
