TWO MIRRORS
by ROBIN BOSCH

See the man in the mirror,
look at him fair and square.
Let your gaze not falter,
till you've properly seen,
what your life is mirroring.

Take off all dark glasses,
open your plastered grave.
Pull off all the fig leaves.
Stare with honesty,
at your fallen state.

All have fallen short,
every one undone.

Everything peeled away.
Everything exposed.
Everything so raw,
and rotten to the core.
Naked before the Father,
of Whom you have to do.

You cannot ever fool Him.
From Him you'll never hide.
He knows your every weakness;
sees you through and through.

His blazing eyes like lasers,
seeing your every move.
Dividing bone and marrow,
and every motive too.

Not liking Law so blatant,
Compared against your life;
shattering all perceptions,
exposing every lie,
revealing every flaw.
Leaving you in tatters;
staring at the wall.

Mirror on the wall
Woe! Woe!
Who will ever save me,
from my sorry state?

At this very moment take a little pause,

then...

See the Man in the Mirror;
Christ the Saviour,
Redeemer, Lord of all.
Accept His perfect offering;
your new identity too.

Filling you with hope and life,
from His throne above.

This Mirror of your life transformed,
When you saw His Light;
From a rotten sinner to a spotless son.
A winner now by Grace,
Shining from His face.

New worth and value gained,
full acceptance too.
All because of Christ.

His dying on the Cross.
For you the Gospels written,
Good News, relentless love.

Oh! how precious is this Mirror,
now that Christ is shining back.
Lift your hands to the heavens,
unending praise to shout,
the never ending story of
Jesus and His love.

The Kingdom stands wide open,
because you turned to Christ,
the Fathers true begotten,
Who said, "Well done,
my precious Son."

For you He died and suffered,
in agony on a tree,
to give you hope in glory,
a future to enjoy.
A life beyond the present;
A Kingdom ever glowing,
brighter than the sun.

Into mirrors you can look,
But only One reflects the Son;
Only One complete and perfect.
Only One that clears your slate.

He who knew no sin,
became all sin for you.

The mirror of His Spirit
will never fade away.
You are now made Righteous.
because of what He's done.

His love has made you king and priest,
a products of His Grace.

Never  take the glory,
from Him who paid the price.
Remember from whence you came.
A life bereft,  without the Son.
Condemned to hell forever;
Released from prison cells.
Now with Him you'll ever dwell.

The Mirror made you once so sad,
when undone you really saw,
the need of change complete.

The Image in the Mirror,
looking back on you with smiles.
Embracing you with open heart,
with words of love and pride.

To those who accept His sacrifice
the Master will now say,
 "Well done,
welcome home,
my Kingdoms come.
It's now finished."

Nothing more for you to do,
Nothing more but to abide,
by His Spirit to project
the Sons reflection pure,
the apple of His eye.

The man in the Mirror calls,
For a closer walk with Him.
So that when you enter glory,
He'll say, "Well done my faithful one,
Come walk on heavens shore;
my peoples Promised Land."

"Come in, come in,
Come now.
You're surely now included
and always very welcome."

He beckons now to come.
Don't delay this moment.
Today, the right time,
the right hour,
to enter into glory.

The Kingdom calls with loud applause.
The King is coming soon.
With joy He'll catch you up,
to ever be with Him
Amen!

I have been a believer in Christ for many years. It has only been in the last three or four years that I have received greater insight into the Grace of God. This has injected me with energy to tell others about the blessed "rest" we have in Christ. Grace is not a theology but is a Person-- Jesus.
