When the thief comes,
it could be day or night
for all he cares about
is stealing Jesus’ light.
He has up his sleeve,
a life gripping plan
for, he wants to snatch you
right out of God’s hand.
His purpose is clear,
in hell he wants you
for, he’s out to destroy
your heavenly view.
He will discourage you,
he wants you defeated
for, he wants you to feel
you have been cheated.
When the thief comes,
you may be awake or asleep
for, all satan cares about . . .
is stealing Jesus’ sheep!
