I understand your skepticism. It seems more like a Monday; you’re returning to a regular routine after the Independence Day holiday. Keep a stiff upper lip; head up, shoulders back.

Raise your hand if ‘Pleasant Valley Sunday’ triggers memories. It was a 1967 Monkees hit record. Yes, that goes way back to the days of 45 rpm records. I have pleasant memories of watching the Monkees weekly on television with my younger sister.

We each have fond memories of pleasant times and pleasant places.
