by Fenny West Happy is the one whom God chastens Joyous is the one God disciplines. He makes sore and he binds up. Sets you up for a lift up He breaks and blesses and brings through Demonstrating that He's faithful and true He wounds and his hands make whole. To Show that He is the God in control He will deliver you in six troubles. And comfort you in seemingly fixed struggles Yes, in seven and no evil will maim you. In famine he will satisfy you; In drought He will fill you from His River of Delight You will not walk in darkness but in His marvelous light In war He will rescue you from the power of the sword. And you will testify of the power of His Word He will hide you from the scourge of the tongue. Condemning every tongue that rise to wrong You will be confident and not be afraid Regardless what you see, you will not be dismayed Regardless of the destruction that comes. You will stand to see His protection come At destruction and famine you will laugh; He will make you tougher as the going gets tough, You will not be afraid of beasts of the earth. Because your God is the God of the Whole earth For you will be in league with the stones of the field, Like a diamond you will shine in any field And the beast of the field will be at peace with you. Because the Prince of peace is in you Your dwelling place will be in peace Because in His presence our struggles cease You will visit your house and will not fear Because Jehovah Shammah is there Your offspring shall be great. Because you are in league with I Am- the Great Your seed shall be as the grass of the earth. Taking territories from birth to death You will come to your grave in full age. Long productive satisfying life at every stage Like a cedar, your fruit will come in its due season. You will succeed beyond natural reason. Hear it Receive this, ponder on this, accept it. Acknowledge it. Feed on it. Confess it Proved it; pray it, and God will do it.
