THE UNPROFITABLE SERVANT...MATHEW 25
by Lewis E. Thomas THE UNPROFITABLE SERVANT Every Christian has read the parable found in Matthew 25!
Every Christian should heed it's warning if they want to spiritually survive!
This parable speaks of a Master who had three servants whom he entrusted!
Two passed his test, one failed and was eternally busted!
One received five talents which he invested earning five talents more!
One received two talents which he invested earning two talents more!
The third servant was slothful and lazy and afraid!
So he "buried" his one talent that his Master had gave!
The Master came home and reckoned with each servant face to face!
The first two were highly praised and received rewards and their Master's grace!
The unprofitable servant who "buried" his Master's talent in the ground...
"Should have run away into the wilderness never again to be found!"
The fact that "he knew" what his Master "expected" caused his Master to get very mad!
And what happened afterwards is really sad!
His Master commanded that he should be cast into OUTER DARKNESS forever!
His relationship with his Master was eternally severed!
The unprofitable servant is like unto a tree/christian that bears no fruit for God!
Neither shall make it to Heaven to spend eternity with God!
God says "every" tree that bringeth not forth good fruit will be hewn down and cast into the fire!
Is that the kind of future anyone would desire?
This is just another portion of scripture seldom preached in Churches today!
This "selective omission" of God's word is causing multitudes to go astray!
Satan has fully succeeded in censoring and watering the word of God down!
He has weakened or destroyed the Power of the Church in every city and town!
