Once again our nation mourns the shedding of innocent blood. I’m in shock over the mass killings in Las Vegas. The area is home to members of my family; I thank God for His watch care over them.

My heart breaks for the families who lost loved ones; they are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray for the physical healing of the injured, asking the LORD to also remove all emotional scars. I ask Him to give strength and comfort to their families and friends.

I have no explanation for this despicable act of violence.

I hate that it happened. God is fully aware of the situation; He hates murder.

“These six things the Lord hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
A proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren (Proverbs 6:16-19 NKJV).”
