Stop worrying child, I got your back!
by Hannah Idowu

From the beginning, you have pondered

asking ceaseless questions

if you will make it.

As  you got older, you continue to wonder

when will I match up with my mates?

what does life have in stock?

As each day passes by, you continue to worry

of what was, what is and even what is to come.

You are like the cat who was on a boat but how unfortunate there was a storm; Its boat crashed and fell into bits. The cat struggled, thankfully he was able to stay afloat on a piece of wood. Life is like a movie with so many scenes; there will be some ups and downs along the way but the end is sure.

God has promised you a good future but you won't stop worrying. God has declared He is not a man, He said He will bring His promises to pass, He said He will go through the journey with you but rather than believe, you won't stop worrying.

I remember when I used to be afraid of staying alone in the house; I was constantly looking behind just to be sure no one was sneaking up on me. One day as I washed the dishes, I heard God ask me why I was always looking behind every time I was alone, I replied that I was anxious. God replied, "Stop worrying child, I got your back". That was the last time I worried for my safety.

You might be facing a storm right now and it looks like you are about to drown OR there is gross darkness all around you and no sign of light. Be rest assured that after the storm there will be calmness and light at the end of the tunnel.

Be of good cheer child, God is set to turn your mourning into dancing.

Be of good faith child, God is making a way for you.

Don't lose hope child, stop worrying! God's got your back!

I enjoy reading motivational books and the bible hence as i am inspired i find myself either composing a song or poetry. I call them my moments of intimacy with the Most High God.
