Taking A Walk With Jesus
by Sonja Mattison

If you are ever in need of a companion to travel with, a friend to walk with, or someone to talk to, just be still. Take one step forward. Listen. Look up. You will find silence, and feel the power of God, and presence of Jesus. After you have acknowledged their existence, you can continue to take more steps.

Each footstep will be guided by Christ. Your footsteps will turn into magnificent journeys. Regardless of whether you may feel lost on your path(s), or full of doubt, if you are walking with Jesus you are moving to higher levels.

Your footsteps do not simply only keep you moving and maneuver you into new opportunities, but they also ground you, especially in the Savior, so you will not and cannot fall or fail. If it seems like you are doing either one, it is only an illusion because once Christ holds you he will not drop you. For it is even impossible for you to pull away from him.

Believing that God and Jesus will carry you every step of the way will lead to a life of longevity and happiness. Jesus loves you, and his father, God created you to be here and protect you. It is safe to walk with Jesus and lean on him despite which direction you are going in.

Continue to stay grounded with Jesus and lift your head up. You are being guided by the light of the shepherd. He will show you the right way leading you into eternal bliss. He will also show you love, which can never go wrong. Walk with Jesus.
