Welcome at Our Thanksgiving Tables
by PamFord Davis

Holy Spirit, I’m indebted to You.

Through Your presence and power, I was born again.

“That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit (John 3:6-8 NKJV).”

You are my teacher.

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you (John 14:26 NKJV).”

You empower me to witness for Christ.

“And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness (Acts 4:31 NKJV).”

Holy Spirit, I need You in my prayers of intercession.

“Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26 NKJV).”

Holy Trinity… Father, Son and Holy Spirit, You are welcome at our Thanksgiving tables.
