I LOVE YOU LORD
by Lewis E. Thomas I LOVE YOU LORD I got up this morning before the rising of the sun.
And I thanked God for my new day that had just begun!
As I waited for my coffee to make I sat down and I bowed my head!
And asked God to forgive us on earth for all the unborn aborted dead!
I asked God to grant salvation around the world!
To put His Holy Spirit into every man, woman, boy and girl!
I looked up on my wall at a big cross hanging near my TV set.
And I thanked Jesus for dying on His Cross to pay my Sin debt!
I raised my hands up high and tears began to fall and run down my cheeks!
I prayed, "I love you Lord" but my old flesh is really weak"!
I prayed, "Lord, what greater gift can I give to you?
Than to say, "I LOVE YOU IN EVERYTHING I SAY AND DO"!
Lord, I cannot promise I'll always be perfect without commiting a sin or two!
But one thing I "can promise" is this!
"I WILL, ALWAYS LOVE "YOU"!
