Shadow of Death

Shadow of Death

In Christ even in the Valley of the Shadow of Death there should not be fear.
In Christ we should not have to shed a tear.
For God our Father in the book of Psalms promised He is always near.

We all go through dark valleys to reach another pasture.
Our Shepherd is right by our side in the danger.
Protecting us with his staff and guiding us with his rod.
So no need to fear when in the Light of God.

Shadow of Death proven in my life.

In 1990, I was having a baby and I blacked out for 30 minutes. I tell you this because, this is truly what I went through back then. My life was in danger so was my baby's. They took the baby while I was in this stage of delivery. Then, they came back to attend to me.

While they were trying to reach me, I was having a conversation with an angel. The room was not as bright but a shadow of things to come if I would stay. But, my lessons were not over and back I would come. But, the peace that enveloped me would not let me say yes. I fought hard to stay in that place but, the plans God had for me did not include Heaven at that time.

It was to raise my son to know Him and love Him. Right then, as they reached me from the earthly side I knew. That life is fleeting and we are just here for a few. A few years of being who God has called us to be; to love the world and to give our time to helping others reach eternity.

This peace I can sense every once in ahwile in this crazy mixed up world. But, to be where God wants me to be is better than living out my own dreams. Dreams come and go but, this dream or shadow of death showed me that God is always there and guiding us no matter what we go through.
