Cuttings to Share
by Linda Jackson

Fear has been gnawing at my heart

There are answers I need to know

Something swarming in my thoughts

Causing confusion to grow

Pictures from my past seep into my mind

Scenes seemingly lost in time

The sripping of hope I once knew

This isn't a dream, yet I must awake

The peace of my family is at stake

My faith in You Lord came under attack

The creeping darkness, oh so slow

Gnawing, swarming and stripping

Causing doubt to grow

As I turn back to You I understand

My life had become a desolate land

Your tender care causes my joy to grow

These cuttings I need to share with those I know
