HELP ME GOD!
by Lewis E. Thomas HELP ME GOD! Help me God on this path I walk every day!
Help me to "stay" on that Straight and Narrow way!
Help me to "rule my own spirit" and make it obey!
Lord, please "hear me" each time I kneel and pray!
Help me God to "control my mind" and all my thoughts!
Help me to remember that with Jesus' precious blood I was purchased and bought!
Help me Oh God with my struggle against Sin!
I know that without "your help" I will never win!
Forgive me for those times when I fail you in my flesh!
Fill me with a "new anointing" that is Powerful and Fresh!
Help me God to be "all" that I can be!
Open my "blind eyes" and let me spiritually see!
Teach me to show "your love" to both friend and foe!
Help me God to remember that I will always reap "exactly" what I sow!
Help me Oh God and fill me with heavenly power from above!
Teach me to "recognize" and grab every opportunity to show the world your love!
