God Forgets Our Sins For His Own Sake
by Michael Edwards

“I, I am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins. Isaiah 43:25 ESV

from the least of them to the greatest of them," declares the LORD, "for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more." Jer 31:34b

Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. How blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, …Psalm 32:1-2a

For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more. Heb 8:12

then he adds, “I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more. Heb 10:17

Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will NEVER (ou mÄ“) count against them. Rom 4:8 NIV

Love does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 1 Cor 13:5

We all know the suffering and bitterness that comes from counting and remembering the sins of others. Could it be that unforgiveness would cause God pain and suffering? Therefore, for his own sake, he chooses to not remember our sins.

Thank you Father for assuring me that you are not holding my sins against me. For my own sake, help me to be like Jesus and do the same with all I come in contact. Let me not judge or foster doubt but instead preach your message of reconciliation directing all to your love, mercy, grace and forgiveness.

that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. 2 Cor 5:19

For those who have not believed the great news from God offered through Jesus Christ, the door is wide open for you.

Repent (change your mind and believe) therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, Acts 3:19 ESV (emphasis mine) Accept Jesus HERE.
