OUR COMPUTER BRAIN

Thought: Most of us are familiar with a computer. It knows all about us, our name, address, phone number, age, buying habits and even any criminal records--nothing is hidden. All the information is registered in the main brain 'cloud'. Our own brain functions like a computer logging in everything we say and do. How else could we recall past memories if we didn't have the storage capacity that records everything about us?Testimonies from those who have had near-death experiences confess that their whole life passed before them like a video recording. How do evolutionists explain the complexity of the brain? Could it all have evolved from slime?

God's Word presents to us a startling fact that the recording of our life will be played back for the final judge, Jesus on judgment day. We will be left with no excuses. Even those who have never heard the message of Salvation will still know right from wrong because God has created mankind with the ability to choose good or Evil. His laws are written on our conscience. "The day will surely come when at God's command Jesus Christ will judge the secret lives of everyone, their inmost thoughts and motives." This reality should make us stand up and take notice of how we live out the rest of our lives. Everything we do and say is on record with no delete button. Ask any returning soldier if they can cancel out their thoughts of what they have seen or done on the front lines. No one will be exempt from that final judgment day. The Word tells us we should not copy the behavior and customs of this world but be a new and different person with a fresh newness in all we do and THINK--His ways will always satisfy us. Are you ready to live out your life for Christ? See Jesus in all his glory (Rev. 19:11-16).

Prayer: Father God, help me to be ready for that meeting in the sky. I want to live out the rest of my life in your will whatever that might be. I surrender all to you. Amen

Verse: Rom. 12:1,2 "And so dear brothers, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living sacrifice, Holy---the kind he can accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask? "
