I came in as a Martha

Unvalued with no worth

Feeling Unappreciated

Probably since birth

Mary's were the ones

Who always seemed to win

Yet I struggled hard to please

For I had to be a ten

But now I see the truth

God loves us both the same

We serve in different ways

But bring glory to HIS name

We each must bring some balance

To the way we were created

For our purposes are much the same

And in that I am elated

So now I leave you still as Martha

With a greater understanding

That centering my prayer time

Leaves life times less demanding
