rushing through flatlands

waves roiling in determination--

To rise against transgressions

and forgive any wounds

sullied with gossip

or ill-tempered conversation—

To stop undue reasoning with

your kids – instead hug

them and say you love them—

for life’s plan as He

draws you into His arms.
