He barks them away

the tone of his voice

overpowering

and full of stuff – some

not so nice

hard to tell if he really

wished me to hear his story--

lonely-broke and full of

anger. Yet when I mentioned

Jesus and some loaves He

ate with a crowd

arthritic bones shook

tears fell – can I hear more

about Jesus? he asked.
