Perfect

Perfect!

His will is perfect.

“Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:1-2 HCSB).”

His instruction is perfect.

“The instruction of the Lord is perfect,
renewing one’s life;
the testimony of the Lord is trustworthy,
making the inexperienced wise (Psalm 19:7 HCSB).”

Can I be perfect?

“Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect (Matthew 5:48 HCSB).”

It’s my desire. I am far from perfect but the Father continues to perfect me.

We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.  For those He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers (Romans 8:28-29 HCSB).”

One day… “Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him because we will see Him as He is (1 John 3:2 HCSB).”
