ARLINGTON

ARLINGTON

To those who want to take a knee during the National Anthem of our nation...
I have a few things to say about that situation!

When you take a knee and disrespect The Red, White, and Blue!
You disrespect "all the fallen soldiers" and not just a few!

You disrespect those veterans who are still alive as well!
Those who have unseen emotional scars received from War's living hell!

The NFL Stadium is where Americans go to enjoy The Game!
Every one of you kneeling players should be very ashamed!

There are plenty of other ways to vent your concerns and your views!
Stop kneeling on the fields and voice your complaints through the appropriate venues!

Everyone of you kneelers should take a trip to ARLINGTON CEMETARY!
Walk up and down "every" row where our fallen soldiers are buried!

As you do think about the fact that each grave represents a family who suffered great loss!
Think long and hard about that as you walk by each and every white Cross!

Think about the wives and children who have grieved for years!
Think about their many years of fallen tears!

When your done I hope your walk through ARLINGTON has made you wise!
I hope there will at least be a few tears that form in your eyes!

Next time your on the field getting ready to play a football game!
Remember each white cross and each family represented by that dead Soldier's name!

When our National Anthem is played stand proudly and respect our flag for all to see!
"Honor those who died in battle so that you could be free!"

Pray daily for our Nation and the families of the fallen on that path you trod!
Be thankful for our Veterans and "lift them and their families" up in prayer to God!

As given by God on Memorial Day 2018

This poem is to honor all of our Nation's Veterans who died and served to defend freedom!
Remember our soldiers in cemeteries similar to Arlington in other countries also!

How many U.S. troops are buried in foreign cemeteries?

An exact number is hard to pin down. The American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) has tried to keep a tally. They created and maintain 25 American military cemeteries located in 10 foreign countries, including France, Belgium, the United Kingdom, the Philippines, Panama, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, and Tunisia.

The number of soldiers buried in those cemeteries is approximately 130,000.

Every NFL player who takes a knee should be made to watch the movie titled, "TAKING CHANCE" staring Keven Bacon! Keven Bacon plays the part of an Officer escorting a dead soldier's body home to his family! Be prepared for many tears!

Next time you see a Vet wearing a Veteran cap walk up to them and shake their hand and thank them for their service to our Nation!
