End Times

Pre-trib. Post trib. Dispensationalist. Eschatology. Futurist. Preterist.

Some in Christendom enjoy studying the subject of end times. I'm interested in the end times as well, but more specifically, my personal end time. That is, when my time on earth is finished; when my time to serve this generation ends.

According to Acts 17:26 God determined my preappointed time and the boundaries of my life. With each passing day I pitch my earthly tent one day closer to eternity. The Lord states that He wants "me to know my end, and what is the measure of my days" (Psalm 39:4)

While taking an on-line tutorial on the fundamentals of Microsoft Excel, I learned this: "Dates are stored as serial numbers, which count the number of days elapsed since January 1, 1900. For example, the date 07/24/2003 is actually stored in Excel as 37,826, but displayed (on a spreadsheet) using the date format that was typed." Internally, the computer counts the days, not the months or the years. I, too, need to number my days because I likely have far fewer years than I think.

"So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." (Psalm 90:12)
