God Has Not Changed
by Ngozi Nwoke

God has not changed! He is still the same yesterday, today and forever. No matter the situation you may be in or what people may say, always remember that the Lord Almighty has not changed. What He did yesterday He will do again today and tomorrow. This post is aimed at jiggling you out of your doubt position.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever - Hebrews 13:8 (KJV).

For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it - Hebrews 4:2 (KJV).

Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me? - Jeremiah 32:27 (KJV).

Don't you believe that God will do what He said He will do in the scriptures? If you have seen it in the bible, it is an indication that He will do it again. The Lord is the God of all flesh, nothing is hard for Him. When people think of the Almighty Father, they somehow think that He is like man, and so see Him as being limited. Just to remind you, He is the creator of the entire universe. What He did yesterday, He can do again.

The great King is still as mighty and powerful as He was when He delivered the Israelites from bondage in Egypt with great signs and wonders, when He delivered Daniel from the lion's den, when He delivered the three Hebrew boys from the burning fiery furnace, when He gave Solomon the kind of wisdom and wealth that no man ever had before him and when He made Sarah who had passed the age of child-bearing to give birth to a son. The scriptures are full of the great acts of God in the lives of men LIKE YOU.

So, what can be the problem? It is lack of faith. The word of God will not profit you if you don't miss it with faith (Hebrews 4:2). You must believe that if God could do it in the lives of the men and women in the scriptures, He will do it for you, unless you doubt the scriptures. You may not know how and when He will do, but one thing is sure He will do it again. He is still GOD, He will not fail. Man may fail you but not the Lord. He is not man that He should lie or repent (Numbers 23:19), what He says He does.

What situation are you faced with that you are allowing doubt from the enemy to cheat you of God's help and deliverance? The truth is that the Father is fighting for you; otherwise that situation would have been worse. If you sincerely analyze that challenge in your life you will see that the Lord has come true for you. God has not changed; He is the same now as then. You need to hold on to the word of God concerning that issue, whether you know how He will do it or not. Set your eyes on Jesus and you will walk on water, you will do the impossible and receive the kind of intervention that you can never explain, a miracle.

Now, I encourage you to put aside the doubt that the enemy is pushing down you and prove God's word in your life, by obeying Him. The water didn't turn to wine until the servants took it to the master of ceremony in obedience to Jesus Christ's instruction (John 2:1-11). Peter had to launch into the deep at Christ's word before enclosing net breaking multitude of fishes (Luke 5:1-6). Step out in faith, obey God, not listening to the doubt in your head and you will step into your breakthrough and victory, for truly, GOD HAS NOT CHANGED.
